The food-related blog of a former ice cream truck driver living in New York City. I may just be an eater, but I've got friends in yummy places.

I found Unclutterer through MyLifeScoop through Design*Sponge (who just launched their fancy new layout!) I’m now obsessed with all three.
I’ve spent a considerable amount of time on Unclutterer, taking notes about future projects and things I can do ASAP to clear the junk out of my life. I found the article about Uncluttering for ADHD to be particularly helpful.
Unclutterer has this awesome feature called “Unitasker,” which pokes fun of highly-specialized wastes of space and through it I found some help in the Kitchen!
This morning I made “Yonanas,” without the use of a ridiculous machine. A friend recommended upping the ingredient list from one frozen banana to one frozen banana plus peanut butter. Oyster Man’s hand-blender is on the fritz, so I added the PB on the side and voila! Deliciousness!

The other great tool I found was multiple uses an item intended for unitasking:a waffle iron. Oyster Man and I got one for a vacation we went on with some friends, we always cook to lower the cost of being away from home, and we were assigned breakfast duty. If you’re like us and don’t make waffles very often (Trader Joe’s has gluten-free mix) check out Waffleizer.com.

Food Bloggers, meet the new food content aggregator- FoodPress.
FoodPress will highlight the hottest food-related posts from Wordpress.com. The new site is a collaboration between Wordpress.com and publishing company Federated Media, who will handle the publishing
According to Mashable, this is the blogging platform’s first attempt at niche content aggregation. The posts will be curated by FoodPress editor Jane Maynard. This says a lot about the strength and breadth of food-related stories, recipes, pictures, and video being shared throughout the blogosphere.
WordPress editor Joy Victory wrote on the WordPress Blog:
“Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.”
Those wise words are from celebrity chef Julia Child, who was never shy about following her passions in life.
Child was passionate about many things, but especially food — and she shares that in common with WordPress.com bloggers, who publish thousands of mouth-watering recipes and food stories every day.
For that reason, we couldn’t resist building a special new site dedicated to showing off the amazing breadth of food-related posts on WordPress.com. Today we’re thrilled to announce FoodPress, the go-to destination for the hottest dishes from WordPress.com bloggers. To help us run the site, we’ve partnered with publishing company Federated Media. Each day, FoodPress features snippets of posts, which is designed to get new people to discover and then click through to a blog.
If you’re wondering how posts are selected for the site, it’s easy: They’re all hand-picked by FoodPress editor Jane Maynard. She finds most of the posts by scouring food-related tag pages like food, recipes, baking, cocktails, and more — so if you’re a food blogger, be sure to use tags on your posts.
