Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I’ve been in the market for a water bottle FORVER.
The most important qualification be that the bottle be environmentally sustainable and healthy. However, I have this annoying voice in my head telling me this water bottle must be absolutely perfect.
I’m currently working with a nice, but very heavy blue glass bottle (oooh, solarize your water!) and a bag designed just for water bottles of it’s size with positive words printed on the inside. The bag, while functional, is rather meh (ugly).
So here is my criteria-
16 oz
Tight seal
Light-weight
Purifies my water
Glass inside or glass-lined
Midnight Blue matte finish (apparently this is the hardest part)
Non-plastic
Non-aluminum (unless it has a glass inside)

The closest I’ve found is a $25 bamboo bottle (all the way on the right) which has a bamboo outside, separate glass inside for easy cleaning, and a screw top. It isn’t made for fancy on-the-go purification or available in any of my new favorite colors, but its good enough. The only problem is that everyone wants it and so I’ll have to wait.
